Frankenstein Journal #2
Consider the following quotes
and then write a half-page journal response.
Frankenstein's Creature: “Was man, indeed, at once so powerful, so virtuous
and magnificent, yet so vicious and base? He appeared at one time a mere scion of
the evil principle, and at another as all that can be conceived of noble and
godlike.”
Shakespeare's Hamlet: “What a piece of work is man! how noble in reason! how
infinite in faculty! in form and moving how express and admirable! in action
how like an angel! in apprehension how like a god! the beauty of the world, the
paragon of animals!”
Nietzsche: “The world is beautiful, but has a disease called man.
Man is the cruelest animal.”
